Higgins Beach Road, Winter

Higgins Beach Road, Winter, 6" x 8", Oil on Panel, 2010

We're having an extremely mild winter here in Maine. Despite what Punxsutawney Phil might have to say about another month or so, at this rate I'll take it. Still, it's odd to see so much grass here in the middle of February. (Something tells me that March will be payback time.)
On another note, thanks to all of you for kind wishes and advice for our getaway to Quebec City this past week. It was a fantastic little trip--I just couldn't get over the fact that I had driven to this place that felt so, so far from Maine. If you haven't been yet, go. We'll be back as soon as we can!

feels like home to me. I can hear the waves crashing. Great sense of light.

Someone is spamming you, Cooper.

Thanks Mary. It isn't hard to catch that light down around Higgins!
