Untitled, 20" x 30", Oil on Panel, 2008
I didn't want you to think I was slacking in my painting duties. I apologize for the lack of posts this week, but I've been working on some larger pieces for an exhibit in Newburyport, Massachusetts this fall.
And if I haven't told you already, my wife Jill and I are expecting are first child in less than three weeks! I'll keep you posted on all developments.

Hi Cooper. I read your blog quite often and really enjoy your work. I'm just not much of a commentor/commentator. ;)

Just wanted to say congratulations to you and your wife.

This is just beautiful, so clean and striking. Serene and dramatic at the same time. Lovely work, and a big congratulations to you and your wife!

Thank you Nel. I was really happy with it. Serene and dramatic seems like it will also be a good way to describe kids too yes?
