St. Peter's, Sunset, 6" x 6", Oil on Panel, 2008 SOLD
This is St. Peter's Church in Portland. Tucked away on a little side street, the church appears fairly unassuming outside, but inside there is a terrific rendition of some of Rafael's works from The Vatican. I think I'll take it over and see if they'll hang it near some of the masterworks. (The photo here strikes me as odd; perspective and details, but the original looks okay.)

I think it looks great! You've done a spot-on job getting that lovely red glow when the sun hits a brick building.

I agree, it looks great! The orange wall really sucks you in - especially in contrast to the sky.

hi, glad to see you are up and about again, and you have got the year off to a great start with these two wondeful buildings. What a pity about the sterile offices, a building like that needs to be used for something MUCH more vibey!

Thank you ambera. I think the photo didn't do the painting justice.

You've captured the light on these past two paintings beautifully, Cooper.
