I agree Cooper, painting is probably more productive than fishing, but then again.....
Maybe you can combine both activities into one somehow? A new form of plein air has emerged! 'Fishainting' ;-) Oh boy...

By the way, I've meandered through your recent posts and your paintings are consistent, evocative and beautiful! You've developed a personal look and feel that says "Cooper Dragonette was here!"

Cheers my friend

PS ~ I miss Wellfleet :(

I like that band of sunlight illuminating the distant shore. Good work.

Fishing is often the word used for "not catching" and as such, I find it to be like cross-training for painting. Because you are just standing there, you have time to take it all in. Whereas painting you have only a little time to get it all down! And you have to work quick in some senses. I have stood for hours fishing, all the while training for the next good painting.

Thanks Chris--I have a bit of a series going with that theme throughout.
