Notes from a Show
The show opening at "" in Westport, Connecticut was great! The space is fantastic. Two rooms all painted white with a few pieces of very comfortable furniture and great lighting. Lots of wall space too which was a real treat since I can usually only see all my paintings from about 6 feet away in the studio. Nice to have a real place to hang them, especially after having spent so much time framing the week beforehand. Each piece has its own space and is lit properly. The opening was a blast--lots of familiar faces; friends and family, with terrific food and wine. I had a great time catching up with a lot of people and sold a few pieces too! Thanks to everyone who was there for your support, and to Antigone Trivellas for showing my work. The show will be up until July 21st.

Congratulations Cooper on being the kick off show as well for a new space!I love the gallery press release notes on your show:

"One is left with a sense of moments seized without compromise – where the ordinary does not exist; it is just the extraordinary that we have not noticed in the simplicity of landscapes in costal New England."

That's what we're talking about.You rock Man.
